What's included in the price
You’ve probably seen coatings advertised for a lot less and wondered where the money goes. Mostly it’s time. Every ceramic coating I do includes:
- a safe wash and decontamination
- at least a single-stage machine polish
- the coating, cured indoors under IR lamps
Ideally it’s 3 days start to finish. When you pick it up, I’ll show you how to wash it safely at home.
What affects your price
“From £500” is the starting point. A few things move it up from there:
- Paint condition. Heavier swirls and marks take longer to put right before coating.
- How much correction it needs. If the paint needs more than a single-stage polish, I’ll tell you. Paint correction on its own is from £400.
- Which coating suits you. Coatings last 3, 5 or 8 years, and Ceramic Pro Gold is a lifetime coating. I’ll match it to how long you’re keeping the car. If you’re changing it in a couple of years, there’s no sense paying for eight.
I can’t give you an exact price off a phone call. I need to see the paint, which is what the free assessment is for.
Why some coatings cost less
Usually because less time goes into the prep. I won’t knock anyone, but it’s still worth asking what you’re getting. A coating locks in whatever’s underneath, so the prep is where the work is. Is a coating the right spend for you?

My personal guarantee lasts for as long as you own the car, as long as it has a yearly maintenance visit (5 years if the visits stop).
