What does ceramic coating do for your vehicle?
- Makes washing easier. Dirt and road grime have less grip on the coated surface, so regular cleaning takes less effort.
- Repels water. Water beads and runs off more readily, making the vehicle easier to wash and dry.
- Helps preserve gloss and colour depth. I prepare and machine-polish the paint first, then coat the finish you want to keep.
- Adds resistance to everyday contamination. The coating provides an additional barrier against UV exposure, road salt, bug residue, bird droppings and tree sap. These should still be removed promptly.
- Reduces the risk of light wash marks. A coating adds some scratch resistance, although careful washing remains essential.
- Provides longer-lasting protection. Choose a package suited to how long you intend to keep the vehicle and how you will maintain it.
Wheel, glass and interior protection can also be added where appropriate. I’ll make clear which surfaces are included in your chosen package.
A ceramic coating will not repair existing paint defects, make the car scratch-proof or stop stone chips. That is why preparation and ongoing care matter.

Vehicle size, paint condition, the correction required and the surfaces you want protected all affect the work. Every ceramic package includes machine polishing. More intensive correction is quoted only where the paint needs it.

Does ceramic protection mean the vehicle no longer needs maintenance?
