How does drop-off work?
I’ll agree a day and time with you when you book. As it’s a bit of a drive, it’s worth planning your day around it, and I’m happy to fit in with whatever suits you.
What does town driving do to a car?
Stop-start traffic in and around Northwich means brake dust on the wheels, and in wet weather the spray off other cars leaves a grimy film on the paint. A quick wash shifts some of it, but not all.
Does outdoor parking matter?
It does. Cars parked on the street or under trees pick up sap and pollen in the warmer months and leaves in autumn. Bird droppings are the other one, and they’re acidic, so wipe them off gently before they etch into the clear coat.
What about the country lanes out of town?
If you live out towards the villages, farm mud on the lanes ends up along the sills and in the arches. It’s gritty, so wiping it off dry leaves light scratches.
Is road salt really an issue?
In winter, yes. Salt left on for weeks dulls the finish and can start to work on bare metal, so it’s worth getting it properly cleaned off.
